A corporation administrator can import multiple users to a contract using a CSV (comma separated values) file. Please press the “Import users” button for starting the importing.
File format
The file must be text file. The file name and extension can be selected freely. The default field delimiter is semicolon ';'.
Format for the row is:
last name;first name;phone number;e-mail address
Example of an import file:
Smith;John;+358400000000;john@.com
Davis;Jean;+358400000001
Möttönen;Matti;+358400000002;matti@.com
Last name, first name and phone number are mandatory fields. The maximum length of the fields for last name, first name and e-mail address is 120 characters. The maximum length for a phone number is 30 characters. It is preferred that the phone number is given with leading plus e.g.+000000000000. Spaces and dashes in number are allowed.
The maximum size of the imported file is 1 MB and the maximum number of the rows is 2000 rows (users). The amount of the imported users cannot exceed size of free licenses.
Selecting file for importing
After pressing the “Import users”, a new page opens where you can select the file to be imported, by pressing the “Browse” button. Once the file is selected, please “Upload” for the checking of the file to be imported. You can press cancel to stop the process.
Accepted or rejected rows
Once the import is complete, result of the importing will be shown, with separate rows for accepted and rejected rows in the file. Clicking the “View report” link shows the details of the selected type of rows.

You can continue the import even if all rows are not valid. Only the valid rows will be imported into contract, here is an example of a list of valid rows.

The rejected rows will not be imported, and reason why it was rejected is shown as the last column to help fix possible problems in importing.
Sending an activation SMS at the importing
After the rows have been checked you can select if you want activation SMS message to be sent to all the new imported users. By pressing Commit the importing is done, and if selected, also the activation SMS messages are sent.
Results of a successful importing
After a successful import, you can see all new users in the contracts / End users view.
Show results of import
The import can take a while if the file to be imported is large. By selecting import log from the user interface you can see the status of imports. Rows rejected shows the number of rows that were not valid in the imported file. Users rejected shows the number of users that could not be added to contract and Users added shows the number of users that were successfully added to database, and to whom the activation SMS message was sent, if it was selected in the user interface.
